Why does the scan take a moment?

The match runs 100% on the server using open-source DeepFace (SFace + OpenCV) — real neural-network face recognition, no third-party face API. The first scan is slowest because the model loads into memory; after that it's quick. This delay is the open-source model computing — it is not a database/Cognee lookup. Your face never leaves this app.
